C.S.I Group's new generation main engine boosts the ocean-going development of Vietnam
On December 26, 2021, the 14000DWT “OCEAN 88” was successfully launchedin Vietnam. This is the first launched ocean-going bulk carrier in Vietnam afterimplementation of the new regulations onenergy conservation and emission-reduction.Itadopts the new generation N8300 (2794kW/720r/min) diesel engine produced byNingbo C.S.I. Power. This product meets the IMO Tier II emission and CCS national standard C2 emission requirements, and can meet IMO Tier III emission requirements with SCR.
The N300 series diesel engine is a new generation of high-power and high-performance diesel engine independently developedbyNingbo C.S.I. Power, which is based on the original G300 series diesel engine andnearly 6000 sets(G300)were broughtintothe market, by absorbing and learning from the structure and technology of domestic and foreign advanced diesel engines, adoptingthecomputer simulation technology, with modularization, smart technology, user-friendly, economic efficiency, and environmental protection as its design concept, and contains several patented technologies and innovative achievements. It can be widely used in the main and auxiliary engines of inland river, offshore, and ocean-going vessels, as well as the prime motor of marine and land-based generator sets and other power devices.
