The Third Heavy Oil Power Station of Ningbo C.S.I. in Guinea Has Been Put In Use
A heavy oil power station built by Ningbo C.S.I. Power & Machinery Group Co., Ltd. officially generated electricity on December 18 in a mining area in Guinea. This is the third heavy oil power station constructed for China Mining Corporation in Guinea since Ningbo C.S.I. Group entered the Guinean market in 2016.
The power station is mine-owned, with a first-stage installed capacity of 6MW. The main engine adopts the N6210 heavy oil gen-set produced by Ningbo C.S.I.. The main fuel is 180 cst/50℃ heavy oil, which can run continuously 24 hours per day. Power plant equipment and materials arrived in Guinea in mid-August. Under the leadership of Xi Binbin, Vice-President of Trading Company of Ningbo C.S.I., overseas employees fought for 90 days, from the power plant infrastructure to the installation of generating sets, from the commissioning of machines to the formal transmission of electricity to mining areas, overcame difficulties and made the smooth delivery of the project, won the recognition of customers. The design life of the power station is 20 years, and it will continue to provide stable and reliable power supply for the mining area.
At present, about 200 heavy oil power stations of Ningbo C.S.I. are distributed in the "one belt and one road" countries, bringing good economic and social benefits to the "going out" enterprises and local owners.
