On September 26, the launching ceremony of the ocean squid jigging vessel “ShunXing16” was held smoothly.

 

It is reported that the total investment of the vessel is about 35 million, and it is a large light squid fishing vessel with leading technology in China. The ship has a total length of 72 meters, a width of 10.8 meters, a depth of 6.9, a depth of immersion of 4 meters and a speed of 14 knots. The main engine of the ship is a Ningdong brand G6300ZC34B marine diesel engine produced by Ningbo C.S.I., with power of 1800 kW and speed of 750 rpm. The machine adopts carbon scraping ring cylinder liner and advanced pulse mixed-flow turbocharged system, which has the characteristics of low oil consumption and long service life of cylinder liner. It has the advantages of fast dynamic response and low fuel consumption. It can use CST180/50℃ fuel oil.

 

The vessel will go to thousands miles away, the Atlantic Ocean near Argentina and Peru for a four-year ocean fishing operation at the end of this year after construction started in March and follow-up works such as outfitting and trial as planned.
