On January 25, the first phase of Jigawa Power Station, built by Ningbo C.S.I. Group for Vinylon Footwear Industry Limited, Nigeria, was started and put into operation.

 

Sule Lamido, governor of Jigawa State, arrived at the power station with staff of Vinylon Footwear Industry Limited Company and Ningbo C.S.I., and jointly visited the main engine room, main control room and other power plant facilities. Subsequently, the governor held a start-up ceremony, and the plant went into operation successfully. The governor highly appraised the construction of the power station project.

 

Jigawa Power Station is located in Jigawa Industrial Park, Jigawa State, which provides power guarantee for Jigawa Industrial Park. The successful generation of Jigawa Power Station will be an important milestone in the West Africa of Ningbo C.S.I.. It will also bring more      opportunities for the industrial development of Jigawa State and play an important role in promoting local economic development.
