Recently, Ningbo C.S.I. Power&Machinery Group Co., Ltd. built a 8MW heavy oil + 4MW photovoltaic hybrid power plant in Africa, which was put into operation and handed over to customers.
The power station adopts the international advanced hybrid power system design. Three 2000 KW gen-sets and two 1000 KW gen-sets are equipted, with a total installed capacity of 8 MW and a photovoltaic installed capacity of 4 MW. In the daytime, the photovoltaic grid-connected power supply is used, while in the night, the gen-sets provide power supply independently. This type of hybrid energy power plant can not only solve the problem of large investment of photovoltaic belt energy storage power station, but also save the operation cost of pure fuel power station.
The delivery of hybrid energy power plants is a breakthrough in the field of new energy power plants in the African market, and plays a positive role in promoting Ningbo C.S.I.’s deep cultivation in Africa and entering the international market.
